Now this is what we call a million dollar question!
Who wouldn't like to be both rich and famous? But can we be what we want to be? Reality is different from our perceptions. Although everyone is struggling to be the best in the race of mortality, only few get through the final laps to the path of success.
Everone has that dream of getting both rich and famous. However, only some people succeed. The majority of people who can not do so, end up for the latter - to be rich. After all, what's the use of a reputation if you can't live a happy life with your family with the satisfaction that you have fulfilled their basic needs?

I would definitely say...just rich! It goes against what many would think they would want, but I enjoy my anonymity! I feel like if I would have all the money I would need I would be able to do the things I would like to do - such as help out those in need, buy things for my family, etc. I don't feel any need or even desire to be famous and have people know me. You see how many problems it brings to celebrities these days - from the paparazzi to death threats - I think I will just keep my humble life and take the money (lol!)

Easily just rich. Who wants to constantly have the press up their backs while they could be living a great lifestyle in peace with a large sum of money instead?

Like the previous answers, I'd just be rich. I don't want people sticking their noses on my private life. Fame has a lot of downsides, and sometimes it gets out of control.

I wouldn't want to be famous, but I would like to be significant in some ways. Being rich, especially if you lived in a small community, you're bound to be famous, albeit just within the community.

Depends on what I'm doing. If I'm in a band or something then rich and famous would be my go. However if I really just have tons of money and got nothing flashy to be proud of (like being a band member, actor or something) then I'd be just rich.

I would rather be rich and not famous. An eccentric in fact. Maybe get around in old clothes, long hair and a beard. People would ignore me and if someone showed some kindness I would hand over a brown paper bag filled with dollar bills, chuckle to myself and shuffle off. Well I am on course to being that, the long hair and old clothes. I'm just waiting on the money to come my way.Lol

I would rather be rich. I am not interested in being famous. I value my privacy and I wouldn't want to lose that. I would hate to be known by everyone wherever I go, people taking pictures of me when I go shopping etc. I've never really understood why fame is desired so greatly in modern society.

oh just rich please. not really into the fame for being famous thing or famous for being rich. Famous amongst your peers for being very talented in some way, doing good works behind the scences, charity, again behind the scenes is a different thing for me and that would be an acceptable fame

It would depend on what I was famous for. If I got to choose that detail then I would most certainly opt for rich and famous. My choice of fame would be in academia. I would absolutely love to be a famous political anthropologist! While this would quite likely provide me with plenty of haters, I would like to believe I could cope.

Just rich. Fame brings a lot of negative qualities to life which I personally would find an unequal trade-off for money.
Today I don't need to reach your deafened ears and
I don't need to try and fill your empty heart, 'cause
All I need now is the agony I see upon your face,
That's good enough for me
In the end
I don't need to try and fill your empty heart, 'cause
All I need now is the agony I see upon your face,
That's good enough for me
In the end
