We have updated the point system, GT Cash. You can view the amount of GT Cash you have got by going to your profile page and clicking on the GT Cash tab on the left. Your GT Cash balance is also shown on yours posts.

What is GT Cash?
GT Cash is the virtual currency for General Talk forum. GT Cash can be transferred to other users and can be used to buy things from the Forum Shop (coming soon).

How do you earn GT Cash?
GT Cash can be earned by making new topics and by replying to topics. You can earn 4.5 GT$ for making a new threads and 2.50 GT$ for replying to a thread in most forums.

What can you do with GT Cash?
GT Cash can be sent to other members and can be used as a form of payment in the Marketplace forum, e.g. GT Cash for signing up to a website etc. We will be adding a forum shop soon where you will be able to trade GT Cash for forum items and possibly real cash and vouchers. You can use the GT Cash to buy tickets in the GT Lottery.

How do you send GT Cash to another member?
Simply go to the profile page of the person you want to donate to and click on the donate GT Cash button. Or go to one of their post and click on the GT Cash balance button, or go to the GT Cash page by clicking GT Cash in the header and then click on Quick Donate.
