Its hard to choose between the two genres when going to the cinema to watch a movie, but my best bet would be a comedy if the movie choice was good.

I usually prefer a comedy film over a horror film. But it's hard to find a good movie nowadays that can make you laugh. When I'm with my boyfriend though he prefers to watch a horror film. We like watching those Korean, Japanese or Thai horror films since they are much scarier than the Western horror films.

I must admit that I have a bias for comedy movies because it is my favorite genre. The horror genre is a big hit or miss for me, I love the Saw and Hostel titles just for pushing the envelope on what you can show in a movie theatre and for making me cringe and flinch in some moments. But one of my favorite movies is Zombieland which is a comedy-horror hybrid type of movie.

I'll go with comedy.
There are more comedy movies that make you laugh than horror movies that are actually scary.

Comedies, of course! Plus, there are a lot of horror movies that are actually hilarious. Ha!

I'd go for a good horror movie over a comedy, but they are both just as likely to be terrible. Cheesy horror movies are everywhere and comedies are basically the same. I love a good comedy if it's a smart comedy! Not going for the cheap laughs, but intelligent humor with twists and irony. As for horror movies, they're all ripping off of whatever the fad is all of the time. And it gets redundant so I'm always leery of watching a new horror movie. Still, if I had to choose, I'd go with horror.

I'd go for a horror movie before I'd go a comedy. I love horror films. My husband however loves comedies and doesn't particularly care for horror movies. So whenever we went movies we usually rent comedy or animated films.

I always choose the commedy. I am not a fan of horror movies and often can't sleep after I see one. I have never seen a horror movie in theaters and prefer not to! I am too paranoid about watching a movie where a killer is lose and then a crazy person on a killing spree will come into the theater. I know that chances of something like that happening are slim to none, but it is still something that is in the back of my mind when I am in a dark theater and am already scared! I like comedy's, I love how they can lift my mood and make me feel so much better after I have had a crappy day.

Horror, for me, because these days, I can't seem to find any good comedy. If you have any suggestion, I will certainly check them out!

I prefer comedy movies. Nothing like a good laugh.
Horror tends to leave me a bit freaked out. If the horror movie was really good , I lock the door before I go to bed.

This is a tough choice for me. I love both comedy and horror films. However, if I really have to choose I would have to choose horror. I like scaring myself

Obviously comedy for me as I have a rather weak heart, LOL~ I don't like how horror movies come to haunt me from inside of my head on worst times so I would rather avoid it.

Most of the time comedy, but in October it would be horror. It is a tradition that I have with my daughter that we watch one horror movie a week in October. The rest of the year, I would rather laugh than be scared.

I hate horror and love comedy. I don't like being scared. So therefore, this one is an easy choice for me! Comedy.

I am a horror movie junkie. The scarier the better. It's like facing a fear. I like to sit in the dark at night and watch scary movies. My mom thinks I'm crazy. You gotta have a little fun!
