We know that Google Chrome can be a huge consumer of computer memory!
Now, here is a solution to this problem!
Tab-Mem-Free plug in is for guys who have a lot of tabs hanging around without any use for a long time. It can lower memory consumption by unloading inactive tabs.

Sounds good but for me it actually makes browsing and switching between tabs slower. Hopefully it will be improved when it's updated.

My sister was sticking with a slow old crappy PC the computer was slowing to a crawl due to the same issue with Google chrome high memory usage.
For there is only 2G memory in her computer so I fix this issue by searching for a free pc memory management software, yet there not too much useful free software on the net now a days, finally I found the 'O&O clever cache' and by using the software 'O&O clever cache' I fix the issue yesterday.
Now the old pc have become faster than before, that only because this software application can optimize and free pc's random access memory, leading to a rise in system overall performance and efficiency. It configures itself on auto-pilot.
Now you can register it for a lifetime license free.(After registering you will receive your personal license key)

Why not try something new? The "One Tab" will save up to 95% memory and reduce tab clutter in Google Chrome.
