I am interested in the paleo lifestyle and politics, I spend a lot of my time researching and learning Marxism and improving my understanding of health.

WoW! That's fantastic. What's the novel about. I had even started a novel and finished three chapters. The story in the novel was supposed to be taken place in Leceistershire, England. It was more than 40 pages of A4 size. But later on, I never got time to finish it. I'm more into editing these days.

The story is evolving as i am writing. The hero is female but i do tend to write in a more masculine rather than feminine way. Its a journey taken and it is giving me a headache lol

It's good to have female protagonists in novels, but the best thing is to stick with the same gender we are. Since you're a male, you can naturally make the most out of your novel if your main character is a male because you know each and every thing a male does, but in the case of females we don't know so much. Therefore, there will be nothing plausible in the imagination you create and things may end up turning the other way round!!

Yes i see your point; i thought it would be interesting to create a female protagonist as a male would see her and see how shee would evolve and see what women had to say abt her. Testing the water, stretching the creativity, being perverse for creativity's sake.
