This is a really serious question actually.

The iPhone seems to work when you need to. It has loads of apps available for free/purchase on the App Store, as well as a large library of songs on iTunes. The design is great, everyone loves Siri, firmware works great, what is there not to love? But the thing is, there really isn't too much that can compare greatly to it?

Maybe I have a biased opinion, but I think the iPhone is the best phone by far. Am I wrong? Is there anything that can compare to it?

Spec wise there are better phones out there at the moment but I still prefer the iPhone, it makes best use of the processor it has and it outperforms other phone that have similar specs.

Another great thing about the iPhone is the App Store, hundreds of thousands of apps to download and buy, plus it's growing everyday. Apps is what Blackberry lacks, Android is catching up but as I developer I would create an iPhone app first over an Android app.

I'm flat out anti anything Apple related, including the iOS devices. Morally, there's plenty of things better than the iPhone. I actually believe that Android devices are better than the iPhone simply because you have a lot more options. If you want a new phone, you have tons of brands you can choose from. If you ever decide you want to try your hand at developing apps, you can't put them on an iPhone. Apple is stingy and doesn't support developers, unlike Android.

As far as Specs go, there's plenty of phones out there that are as high tech as the iPhone. I don't know about Siri, but if they haven't come out with something similar for Android, they're working on it. I just got the most recent update for Android called Ice Cream Sandwich and the voice recognition is pretty awesome.

True about Apple being stingy, and really true about the Android devices being more flexible in capabilities. And actually, I have a friend who designs iPhone apps for fun as a hobby, and he has never had a problem. However, Apple has more restrictions on it than Android.
