Who is excited for the games? For those of you in the UK, any plans of going?
I'm excited as I always am. It is fun to specifically watch fast swimming and the opening ceremony.

I will most likely be watching the Football and Table Tennis.
Maybe a few other sports too.

I will probably have a gander at the opening ceremony and maybe something that's on when I'm flicking the channels.
It is one big marketing operation for major sponsors to sell their wares. Though you wont see any advertising in the arena the marketing machine has spent billions to pick up sales while its on.

I live in london, I tried to buy a ticket with no success. It really annoys me when I see empty seats at the events because the corperates have not bothered to turn up.
I am excited now, I'm looking forward to the athletics, the athletics starts on Friday. I thought the opening ceremony was brilliant as well.

Now that the olympic games have started, i am really glad to see Great Britain doing so well in terms of medals.
My best gold medal for Team GB is when Andy Murray beat Roger Federer in the Tennis in straight sets.
Also enjoyed watching the medal wins in the rowing, shooting & equestdrian.
