Yes, no problem at all. I've had many Japanese stay at my home over the years and have no trouble recognising faces. I guess being non Asian it can be difficult to distinguish different facial features.

Oh, I thought they were both male! Even though person in the body picture has a small frame, I he was male. I thought the top picture was male based on the physique. Even after staring at it for awhile, I still think it's a male. 
I usually have no problem with distinguishing between males and females unless their is a gender issue, i.e. transsexual. I live in California, they are many different cultures of Asian here.

If be lying if I said I thought the first pic of of a female.Great, now I'll have to watch the rest of the events with a doubful eye. Not knowing for sure if the guy dominating in a male event is actually a guy in the first place!
