Is your family bored with eating the same recipes? It is time for you to shake up their eating experience with some delicious dinner recipes from unexpected places. Do not worry, we are going to stick with recipes that are easy to prepare and you may have the ingredients in your kitchen right now. For our first idea, we are going to jump over to the Philippines for one of their favorite fiesta dishes.

Beef Caldareta is one of the most popular dishes in the Philippines and once you prepare it for your family, it will be one of their favorites, too. The recipe uses the following ingredients:

• 2 Pounds Roast Beef (Uncooked)

• 1 Can Liver Paste

• 2 Yellows Onions Diced

• 5 Cloves Fresh Garlic

• 6 Small Diced Tomatoes

• 4 Medium Potatoes Cubed

• 2 Cups Tomato Sauce

• 3 Green Peppers Diced

• 3 Red Bell Peppers Diced

• 4 Red Chili Peppers Minced

• ½ Cup Grated Velveeta Cheese

• 2 Cups of Water

• ¼ Cup Cooking Oil

The preparation instructions are surprisingly simple. Saute the onions and garlic in a large frying pan. Make sure to use a pan with a cover. Add the peppers and tomatoes to the pan and continue cooking for a few minutes. Add the water, potatoes, beef, liver paste and tomato sauce and cook at a medium low temperature for about 45 minutes. Check to make sure your potatoes are soft and the beef is tender. Add the cheese prior to eating. Serve the beef caldareta with white rice.

What other kind of delicious dinner recipes do we have today? We are going to jump over to Germany for a hot bowl of German Borscht Soup. This recipe is perfect for you to prepare in your slow cooker while you are doing other things around your home. This is a hearty vegetable soup that allows a lot of flexibility with meat. You can choose pork, beef, or chicken for your borscht. Let us look at the other ingredients you will need. The ingredients include:

• 2 Quarts of Water

• 1 Pound Beef, Chicken, Ham, or Pork

• 1 Tablespoon Pickling Spice

• 3 Bay Leaves

• 4 Medium Diced Potatoes

• 3 Diced Carrots

• 1 Head of Cabbage Sliced

• 2 Fresh Beets Diced

• 1 Cup of Fresh Green Dill, (Reduce to ½ cup if you are using dried dill.)

• 1 Medium Onion Diced

• ½ Cup Rice (Uncooked)

• 1 Egg

• 1 Cup Sour Cream

• 3 Tomatoes Diced

Boil your choice of meat in the 2 quarts of water along with the pickling spice and your bay leaves. Boil until the meat is completely cooked. You should put the spices in spice bag for easy removal from the pot.

Your next step is to add all of the vegetables, dill and the rice. You will need to cook the soup for about 1 hour on your stovetop or two hours in a slow cooker. When the vegetables are tender, it is time to add the egg and sour cream. Mix the egg and sour cream before adding to the pot. Cook for an additional ten minutes. Your soup is ready to serve to your starving family.
