Search engines crawlers follow dofollow links. In other words, they continue to crawl other pages they discover through standard linksDofollow links pass along what the SEO community commonly calls “link juice.” Links are a vote for quality.

There is no actual DoFollow tag. The absence of the NoFollow tag makes the link DoFollow. If a blog or web site doesn't use the NoFollow tag, the search engines acknowledge thelink; if a site does use the NoFollow tag, the search engines do not acknowledge the link.

Specially for newbies who are new to SEO or people who are still not clear about Nofollow or dofollow, this post will be useful. ... Nofollow is an HTML attribute value used to instruct search engines bots that a hyperlink should not influence the link target's ranking in the search engine's index.
